After asking around for recommendations, we decided to sit with Danny Costello at Evolution Mortgage and get educated! Danny was amazing! He was completely honest and knowledgeable and answered every question we had. I am giving them three stars because in the end, we were able to close on our house. That being said, Danny Costello (one of the agents) is very inexperienced and attempts to portray himself as being an expert. He is not. Throughout the process there were several problems that I noticed and several that were brought to the attention of our lawyer. When i called Danny, he brushed off all of my concerns. All of these issues stemmed from the carelessness of Danny and piled up creating larger issues at the end.

Additionally, he referred my to a credit agency (National Credit Care) to remove a few lates from my account that ended up completely screwing up my credit which had to be rectified through rapid re score and about 15 hours of my personal time spent on the phone with the credit agencies and credit cards. We were frustrated by issues that should not have been created. At the closing for our condo, the lawyer for our buyers knew Danny and confirmed that what happened to us happened to other people. (I believe he used the word putz). Additionally throughout the entire process our lawyer informed us that Danny’s carelessness was something that is not the norm.

It was not until Joe (the owner) took over our file that the process began to go smoothly. Joe fixed the problems that were created by Danny. He took responsibility for the screw up of his employee and did do right by us, which is a credit to him. We closed on our house and all of this nonsense is a memory. If you do go with Evolution, make sure your file is NOT handled by Danny Costello and you will be just fine.-Meghan L.

Where do I start? well first, let me start by saying that prior to working with Danny and Evolution Mortgage, I had my own broker, who was working on the loan for me up until the last month before I closed.
And that’s when all the issues starting to come.

First, My wife and I were well qualified buyers (Great Credit, consistent employment, great income-to-debt-ratio..20% down payment etc…..) But on the eve of closing on my house, my old broker starting providing offers for loans and interest rates, that included paying off points? I was confused with this and he basically told me that it was the bottom line and that is the best that he could do for me considering the current market.

So what did I do? To make sure this was indeed true, I shopped around more. I got a referral from my Real Estate Agent, Ed Svec, who referred me to Danny and Evolution Mortgage. I spoke to Danny over the phone and explained the situation. All told, Danny was straight-forward and direct with what he could and couldn’t do for me.

In the end, not only did i get a lower interest rate with Danny and Evolution, I also did not pay any points! And, to top it off, Danny came in very last minute, as I stated above, so late that he was able to help me close on my home in 2 weeks! So clutch and the process was as seamless as it could be considering the time crunch.

I have had nothing but positive experiences working with Danny and Evolution Mortgage, and I would recommend him to anyone who is interested in obtaining a loan.
